Once again, the students in Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph have been invited to participate in the Young Hoteliers Summit’s case competition in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2016!
The application for this case competition is open to all students who have hotel work experience and have successfully completed HTM*3060 (students currently enrolled in HTM*3060 are encouraged to apply).
To apply, you will need to email Dr. William Murray (murrayw@uoguelph.ca [1]) your up to date resume along with a one-page answer to the question: "Why should you be chosen to represent the University of Guelph’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the Young Hoteliers Summit in 2016?" This is due by 11:59 pm on October 9, 2015.
The top candidates will be required to make a public presentation later in November that simulates what you will face at the YHS competition.
The competition will take place in March 14-16, 2016, if you are chosen to represent the University of Guelph. Funding is covered for participants to travel to Switzerland.
