On Thursday October 7th, the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management will be hosting the opening of the Anita Stewart Memorial Food Laboratory and you’re invited to attend the live broadcast! The opening ceremony will include speeches, a ribbon cutting ceremony and you’ll also get to see the new features of the Anita Stewart Memorial Food Laboratory.

For the last year, the Anita Stewart Memorial Food Laboratory underwent an extensive renovation thanks to a $1.3 million donation from alumnus Michel Eric Fournelle. It is equipped with brand new equipment from Whirlpool and a state-of-the-art broadcast system.
