Congratulations to Rebecca Gordon and Bruce McAdams on receiving an award for the best academic presentation at the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) Canada Chapter Conference held Sept 13-15th in Kingston, Ontario. #HFTMProud

Their presentation, "Exploring Post-Secondary Students' Perceptions of the Quality of their Summer Tourism Jobs", highlighted that students who receive more training and support from their managers during their summer jobs are more likely to stay in their job throughout the entire season and return to a tourism job the following season.

The conference was well represented by the school, including, Dr. Mark Holmes, President of TTRA Canada, Dr. Statia Elliot, the conference keynote speaker (Presentation titled "Exploring New Waters: the Path Forward to a Sustainable Future") and graduate students.
