The Master of Organizational Consulting program is delivered online over 16 months. Each course is taught over seven weeks, meaning you can focus on one course at a time while balancing work and family responsibilities.

The program is also designed with a full-time work schedule in mind, so you can keep working while completing your courses. You can expect to commit 10-16 hours per week while in the program.

Capstone: Real-World Consulting Project

In your final semester, you'll take part in a live consulting engagement through Organization and Management Solutions (OMS), a university-based consulting group.

You'll work in teams with real clients from business, government, or non-profit sectors to solve organizational challenges. This project is supported by structured mentorship and culminates in a client presentation and a personal development reflection.

 

Who Should Apply?

This program is ideal for:

  • Early- to late-career professionals from any sector (business, healthcare, education, nonprofit, etc.) looking to move into consulting roles.
  • Professionals and team leaders ready to formalize their experience and step confidently into strategic consulting roles, internally or externally.
  • Business professionals who want to complement technical or operational expertise with advanced organizational and critical thinking.
  • Recent graduates with a four-year undergraduate degree and meaningful co-op, internship, or applied experience in organizational settings ready to fast-track their transition into the world of consulting.
 

Applying to the Master of Organizational Consulting

  • A four-year honours undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 70% (B-) average in the last two years of study.
  • Two or more years of full-time work experience. If you have less than two years of experience, you may be considered if you have relevant part-time, volunteer, or co-op experience and can explain how it has prepared you for graduate study in your application.
  • Prior learning in statistics/data analysis/quantitative methods is recommended. Evidence of familiarity with key concepts such as data visualization, statistical analysis, and the use of analytics tools may enhance your application. You may be required to take supplemental coursework if you do not have experience in this area.

As the Master of Organizational Consulting is a new program, tuition rates have not yet been finalized, but will be available from Student Financial Services soon.

Students enrolled in the Master of Organizational Consulting may be eligible for financial support through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
