Mechanical Engineering Admission Requirements for Degree Student/Graduate Applicants in Ontario

Applicants who have completed a minimum of 2.0 credits of study will be considered for admission. Those with less than 2.0 completed credits are typically considered for fall entry only. In addition to having the minimum cumulative average from the previous degree-level studies, applicants must also have the high school subject requirements (or equivalent) for their program of interest.
Having the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Space in some programs is limited, and admission is dependent on the quantity and quality of applications received, as well as space availability.

- Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
- Chemistry (SCH4U)
- Physics (SPH4U)
Minimum Average
- 65%
- Courses attempted in the disciplines of mathematics, engineering and sciences (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) must have a minimum average of 70%
