Women's Studies

Interdisciplinary Program

The purpose of the Women's Studies program is to provide a new focus for academic activities that will lead to a more complete and balanced knowledge and understanding of people and their worlds. Information on the program is available from the Department of Psychology.

General Program Area of Concentration

A minimum of 10 courses is required:

  1. Seven courses from List A.
  2. Three additional courses from Lists A or B

Honours Program Major

A minimum of 16 courses is required:

  1. Seven courses from List A.
  2. Nine additional courses from Lists A or B.

At least 8 of these courses must be at the 300 level or above

Honours Program Minor

A minimum of 10 courses is required:

  1. Seven courses from List A.
  2. Three additional courses from Lists A or B.
