Description

eHIPP will support inter-sectoral collaborations of researchers, health systems, end-users and health technology partners to improve outcomes, patient experience and health care efficiencies in two eHIPP priority areas:

  • Early identification of, and intervention for youth and adolescents (11-25 years of age) with mental health conditions; or,
  • Support of seniors with complex care needs in their home

Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR), Institute of Aging (IA), Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA) and the Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH) in collaboration with the National Research Council-Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP)

Funding Availability

eHIPP will fund grants up to $1.5 million. Applicants must secure external partnership contributions, and CIHR will match these contributions on a 1:1 basis up to $187,500 per year with a maximum total of $750,000 over four years. Funds previously secured for innovation development are considered eligible if received within 18 months of the funding start date
