2017 Program Grant priority areas: Return to Work and Recovery Innovations in Service

The central areas of focus of the 2017 WSIB Grants Program are Return to Work and Recovery; and Innovations in Service.  Aligned to these categories, the WSIB has identified the following priority areas: 

  • Return to Work and Recovery
    • Vulnerable Workers
    • Mental Health
    • Mild Traumatic Brain Injury
    • Occupational Medicine
    • Emerging Opportunities  
  • Innovations in Service
    • Technology
    • Partnerships

Indirect Costs

Indirect costs are not an eligible expense in this program

If College-level review is required, your College will communicate its earlier internal deadlines.

Internal Deadline

Submit your complete proposal for approval with a signed OR5 form to the Office of Research email address at resserv@uoguelph.ca by February 22, 2017.  A signed and approved copy of your proposal will be emailed back to you by 4.30pm on March 1, 2017.  You will then need to send your proposal by courier to WSIB and ensure they will receive it by 4.00pm on March 3, 2017.

External Deadline

Note: your proposal will need to be sent by courier in time to reach the WSIB  before 4.00 PM on March 3, 2017.
