Description

The Ag Robotics Working Group in Ontario is an industry-led, multidisciplinary initiative focused on developing and adapting robotics for use in local agricultural systems. Current work is centred on field crop production, including challenges such as herbicide resistance and labour shortages. The scope of the group is also expanding into additional areas, such as greenhouse production.

This initiative brings together progressive industry partners who are actively seeking to establish new research collaborations and demonstration projects. These partnerships may align well with the University of Guelph's strengths in agri-food, engineering and applied research.

An in-person demonstration day will be held to showcase current technologies and opportunities for engagement.
