Reason for the Call
The University of Guelph is updating its procedures for Canada Research Chairs (CRC) in response to the CRC program’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, released in May 2017. The CRC Advisory Committee will replace the existing Validation Committee, effective July 1, 2017.
Statements of Interest
Interested faculty members are invited to submit a brief (less than 250-word) statement of interest in serving on the CRC Advisory Committee, to include the following:
- A summary of relevant skills, experience and knowledge which would support the mandate of the Committee;
- Evidence of commitment to the mandate of the Committee; and
- Evidence of an ability to work in a consensus decision-making environment.
The deadline for statements of interest is 4:30 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Statements of interest should be sent to Ailsa Fullwood, Manager, Strategic Research Programs (email@example.com).
