Innovation Fund
Description
The Innovation Fund provides investments in research infrastructure across the full research spectrum, from the most fundamental investigations to applied research and technology development, and across all research disciplines from natural sciences and engineering, life sciences and health, to social sciences, humanities and the arts. These investments help keep Canada competitive, resilient and ready to tackle complex national and global challenges. Through this competition, CFI will invest in research environments that are equitable, inclusive and equipped to build Canada into the world’s leading hub for science and innovation.
If you are co-applicant on a CFI proposal led by another University, please submit an Expression of Interest as detailed in the How to Apply section below.
Funding Availability
The University has reserved $1.25M in CFI IF envelope to support proposals led by other universities.
