Annual National Call for Proposals
For More Information
Description
The Canadian Allied Turfgrass Research is a collaborative group of Canadian turfgrass funding associations that have formed an alliance for the annual call for proposals of Canadian turfgrass research grants. The participating associations include:
- Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation (CTRF)
- Western Canada Turfgrass Association (WCTA)
- Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation (AlbertaTRF)
- Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation (OTRF)
- Quebec Turfgrass Research Foundation (QTRF),
- Atlantic Turfgrass Research Foundation (AtlanticTRF)
- Ottawa Valley Turfgrass Research Foundation ( OVTRF)
With a single submission, researchers have the opportunity to have their proposal considered for funding by all groups and funded either separately or collaboratively. A nation-wide grant application eliminates application duplication while giving regional researchers more national exposure. The OTRF will be accepting proposals for 2018 Canadian turfgrass research grants on behalf of itself, CTRF, AlbertaTRF, AtlanticTRF, QTRF, OVTRF and the WCTA.
Special Notes
Funding decisions will be announced March 1, 2018.
