The CIC awards recognize outstanding contributions to research and the Canadian chemistry sciences, engineering and technology communities.
The CIC Subject Division awards recognize exceptional individuals within specific fields of the chemical sciences and chemical engineering.

Eligibility
Beaumier Award for High School/CÉGEP Chemistry Teachers
This is presented in recognition of excellence in teaching chemistry at the high school or CÉGEP level and to encourage and promote chemistry at the high school and Cégep level in Canada.
CIC Award for Chemistry Education
This is presented as a mark of recognition to a person who has made an outstanding contribution in Canada to education at the post-secondary level in the field of chemistry or chemical engineering.
CIC Medal
This medal is presented as a mark of distinction and recognition to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the science of chemistry or chemical engineering in Canada, this is the CIC’s top award.
Environment Division Mehran Alaee Early Career Researcher Award
This award recognizes an outstanding early career researcher who has made distinguished contributions in the fields of environmental chemistry or environmental chemical engineering, while working in any sector in Canada, e.g., academia, government, industry, for-profit/not-for-profit, private/public sector.
Environment Division Research and Development Dima Award
This award is presented for distinguished contributions to research and/or development in the fields of environmental chemistry or environmental chemical engineering, while working in Canada.
Macromolecular Science and Engineering Award
This award is presented to an individual who, while residing in Canada, has made a distinguished contribution to macromolecular science or engineering.
Margaret-Ann Armour Award for Early Career Chemistry Education
This award is presented in memory of Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour as a mark of recognition to an early career educator who has made an outstanding contribution in Canada to undergraduate education primarily at the post-secondary level in the chemical sciences, chemical engineering or chemical technology.
Montréal Medal/Médaille de Montréal
This medal is presented as a mark of distinction and honour to a resident of Canada who has shown significant leadership in or has made an outstanding contribution to the profession of chemistry or chemical engineering in Canada.
