COVID-19 May 2020 Rapid Research Funding Opportunity competition
CIHR would like to inform you that the competition for the Operating Grant: COVID-19 May 2020 Rapid Research Funding Opportunity is progressing well. An impressive number of applications are in progress (n=1,865) and researchers still have until May 11 to apply for the funding. Thanks to the research community for mobilizing so rapidly for this competition, which will enable researchers to accelerate clinical trials and other research aimed at preventing, detecting, treating, and managing COVID-19 and its negative consequences on people, communities, and health systems.
In order to ensure a high-quality competition, we are seeking experienced reviewers to participate. If you are interested and available, please reach out to CIHR immediately at EHTRF-FRNMS@cihr-irsc.gc.ca with your CV. We thank applicants and peer reviewers in advance for their flexibility and understanding with respect to the need for this expedited process.
Please note that applications must be in alignment with all of the objectives and at least one of the research areas of this funding opportunity.
