Are you an academic who would like to share your work and expertise with a wider audience?
Kim Honey, editor of The Conversation Canada, will be on campus on Tuesday, November 3, for a 60-minute workshop to help explain the process of writing compelling commentaries for The Conversation.
This is a great opportunity to learn the many benefits of writing for this non-profit, online news site. Open to all those eligible to write for The Conversation – faculty, graduate students and post-docs – the workshop will help explain:
- the types of articles The Conversation Canada is looking for and how to craft a pitch that lands
- what goes into the editing process
- how publication can boost faculty visibility, media coverage and knowledge mobilization
