Description

Are you an academic who would like to share your work and expertise with a wider audience?

Kim Honey, editor of The Conversation Canada, will be on campus on Monday, April 6, for a 90-minute workshop to help explain the process of writing compelling commentaries for The Conversation.

This is a great opportunity to learn the many benefits of writing for this non-profit, online news site. Open to all those eligible to write for The Conversation  faculty, graduate students and post-docs – the workshop will help explain:

  • the types of articles The Conversation Canada chooses
  • how to craft a pitch that lands and what goes into the editing process
  • how your articles can boost your visibility and lead to further media coverage
