Description
The Digital Research Alliance of Canada has published calls for participation for two programs - National Data Spaces and Controlled Access Management for Research Data.
National Data Spaces - Designed to establish trusted, community-led digital environments for managing and sharing research data within and across research domains. Successful applicants will receive up to $1 million in funding to address operational needs, gain access to emerging national services such as distributed storage infrastructure, and play a leadership role in shaping Canada's future research data ecosystem. More information on the National Data Spaces program can be found on the Digital Research Alliance website.
Controlled Access Management for Research Data (CAM) - Aims to enable collaboration between Canadian data repositories and research institutions to enhance research data management and research security. This initiative is a pilot project that builds on the work of the Sensitive Data Repository Project. Phase 1 of CAM was launched in 2023. This second call for participation is Phase 2.
