Description

Funding is available from Egg Farmers of Ontario for research that meets the priorities outlined in the 'Ontario Layer Sector' of the Poultry Research Strategy, available within the LRIC system for review.

Internal Deadline

Letter of Intent (LOI): PI to submit copy of LOI and budget template along with complete OR-5 to research.services@uoguelph.ca a minimum of one-week prior to planned submission to Egg Farmers of Ontario.

Full Proposal (If invited): PI to submit a copy of the full proposal, including budget, to research.services@uoguelph.ca a minimum of one-week prior to the planned submission to Egg Farmers of Ontario. 

External Deadline

Both LOI, and Full Proposal (if invited) should be completed electronically through the LRIC system.  Applicants will need to register on the site to access the application system. A guide for completing the LOI, as well as a copy of the 'Research Investment Strategy for the Ontario Poultry Industry' can be found within the application system.

Letters of Intent must be completed electronically through the Livestock Research and Innovation Corporation’s (LRIC) application management system.

Information For Co-applicants

If you need to meet a deadline set by the lead institution for this opportunity, please ensure that you provide the Office of Research with at least five days in advance of the lead institution’s deadline to review the application, or your proposed component of the project. Please be in touch with the Office of Research (contact information below) ahead of the deadline if it looks like it will be difficult for you to submit all the required documentation on time (i.e. budget, proposal, OR-5 Form).
