Description

Led by

Jill Rogers - Managing Director, Research Operations, Office of Research
Randy Ragan - Manager, Legal Review, Office of Research

What would you do if you became aware that someone in your lab fabricated data, or did not properly acknowledge someone in a journal article or scientific presentation? What are your obligations if you hold a position with, or receive income from a sponsor of your research?

This session will review the policy framework of research integrity/research misconduct that applies to all researchers (e.g., faculty, students, PDFs, etc.) at the University of Guelph. Participants will gain experience by exploring and discussing real cases of research misconduct. This session is to engage participants in an interesting and informative dialogue.
