Description

The Gartshore Memorial Sheep Research Fund was established with a bequest from Mrs. Claudia M. Reed in memory of her late daughter, Eleanor M. Gartshore.  The intent is to support research in sheep health, care and diseases or related fields of study.  

In selecting the projects to be funded, the criteria will include the importance of the project to the Ontario sheep industry, the quality of the proposal and the research record or potential of the researcher.

Open to anyone eligible to hold research funding at University of Guelph

Funding Availability

$22,000 available to fund 1 - 3 projects

Special Notes

Applications will be adjudicated by Associate Dean, Research (ADR) of OAC and OVC.  The VP Research Services administers the distribution of research awards.
