Description

This presentation and Q&A session is intended as general introduction for all UNIWeb users.

The University of Guelph has launched UNIWeb (by Proximify). The project started as a replacement for the Sedona eCV used for our tenure, promotion, and performance review processes. However, UNIWeb is so much more: an intuitive, user-friendly academic CV tool that not only provides academics with a CV that is completely compatible with the Canadian Common CV (CCV) for those who choose to use it but also an optional platform for robust research networking across the University.

Researchers applying for funding opportunities using the CCV are encouraged to take advantage of the various support materials and opportunities to migrate their Sedona CV to UNIWeb to prepare their CCV well ahead of grant application deadlines. Once migration is complete, a CCV-compatible export can be prepared for import into CCV.

The Office of Research Services and the UNIWeb team are available to support researchers and scholars to keep UNIWeb up to date, and create exports for CCV as needed, to fully benefit from the cross-system compatibility.
