Maximum Project Value
Discovery or Applied Research Projects: Core or early-stage research and applied research. Comprehensive projects addressing key priority topics will normally not exceed $150,000 over three years.
Short-Term Projects: "Quick win" initiatives such as economic impact studies, proof-of-concept projects, pilot studies, best management practices and knowledge translation or demonstration projects. These are expected to have a timeline of one year or less, with smaller projects normally under $50,000.
Indirect Costs
Maximum overhead rate of 15% and equipment/capital purchases over $10,000 per item require pre-approval.
