Description

Mitacs has transformed their Mitacs Step professional skills training program - which delivered over 1400 training and skills development workshops to Canadian students over the past 10 years - into a more comprehensive offering called Mitacs Training.      With funding from the Government of Canada through Budget 2017, Mitacs will deliver 1000 workshops through Mitacs Training over five years to complement their work-integrated learning programs, which are scaling to support 10,000 research internships annually.    Features of the workshops include:
  • Workshops will be delivered to better align with the needs of interns participating in Mitacs innovation programs and prospective interns.
  • To reduce administrative burden on our university partners, Mitacs will manage the scheduling, coordination, and registration for in-person training to increase access for potential and current interns.
  • Online workshops are available nationally.
