Description
Proposals should demonstrate the unique and strategic nature of the proposed research and address how the project advances the field of feline oncology. The Morris Animal Foundation is seeking innovative research studies likely to lead to a significant impact on feline cancer diagnosis or treatment. Pilot studies to gather proof-of-concept data are welcome, if the investigators provide a convincing case that this will open new and relevant areas of research or pathways to translation.
Eligibility
Only investigators from Canadian institutions are eligible to apply to this request for proposals (RFP), and the research must be conducted in Canada. Research studies focused on other species or from other geographic regions will not be considered. Proposed use of laboratory animals in research studies will not be accepted under this RFP.
Competitive applicants will have a record of research expertise demonstrated through peer reviewed publications. A maximum of one application as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Investigator in response to this RFP is permitted.
Maximum Project Value
The maximum study budget is $52,500 CAD ($41,777 USD).

The maximum project duration is 24 months.
