Course Description: This awareness level training is to support researchers in their understanding of, and compliance with, export control regulations in Canada. It is intended to allow participants to:
- Familiarize themselves with key regulations and procedures.
- Understand how research institutions and academia may be subject to export controls.
- Learn about the application process for export permits.
- Recognize the consequences of non-compliance.
Brief Overview: This is an online training course available through Courselink, followed by a quiz to confirm completion and comprehension.
Target Audience: This course is highly recommended for all personnel who may be involved in research involving materials, information or services that could be export controlled.
