New Communication Service from the Office of Research

Welcome to Research Alerts!

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the official launch of Research Alerts, which is now live across the whole of the U of G campus as of today.

Research Alerts is a system that allows faculty and research administrators to receive information targeted more specifically to their research interests, in a user-friendly format, with flexibility for user-tailored delivery frequency.

The development of this system enhances our ability to communicate with the community we serve, and builds on the services we offer in the Office of Research.

After pilot trials in the Office of Research and OAC, the system is now available to the entire U of G research community.

Research Alerts is an opt-out system. All faculty and postdoctoral fellows are registered, and can then tailor their receipt of Alerts.

To sign into the Research Alerts system, please follow these steps:

  • Go to https://www.uoguelph.ca/research/alerts/user, and log in using your U of G central login credentials
  • Change your account settings to customize alerts coming to your inbox based on your interests, and on the categories of funding notices you choose

For more detailed set-up instructions, please go to the Research Alerts site https://www.uoguelph.ca/research/alerts/about

For questions, and to submit feedback at any time, please contact inforc@uoguelph.ca.

We hope you will find this new system helpful in keeping you informed of research-related communications that serve your needs.

With best regards,

Malcolm M. Campbell, PhD
Vice-President (Research)
