Nova Scotia Museum Research Grants

Nova Scotia Museum

The Nova Scotia Museum Research Grant Program, administered by the museum's board of governors, annually contributes funding toward research projects that improve Nova Scotians' understanding of heritage or offer a different interpretation of the province's cultural history. Results from the research can generate artifacts and specimens for the provincial collections.

All, or most, of the research must be carried out in Nova Scotia or involve specimens or artifacts of Nova Scotia origin.  Studies which are collections-based and/or increase knowledge of the cultural and natural environment in Nova Scotia will be considered.
