Description

The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) is committed to working together with brain health-related organizations in order to increase the capacity of their work in Ontario. OBI’s Event Funding Program provides financial assistance of up to $5,000 for events that are aligned with their goal of improving brain health and wellness for Ontarians. The program especially looks to support events that embody OBI’s principles of integration and collaboration. 

Funding Availability

$5,000 per event; Funding for successful applicants will be provided in a single tranche one the Follow-Up Report is submitted.

Project Duration

The January 2019 round of funding is for events taking place between January 15, 2019 and May 15, 2019. 

Internal/external deadlines for the May and September rounds have also been outlined in the 'Deadlines' section of this Research Alert.

The Office of Research will review the terms and conditions of and obtain institutional sign-off on the Funding Agreement embedded in the application. 

External Deadline

January 2019 Round - Researchers must submit a completed application package through the OBI online system.

May 2019 Round

How to Apply

Applicant must sign up and complete the application process, including budget, and upload a copy of the signed Funding Agreement (signed at the Office of Research).
