Description

The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) has shared a new pilot funding opportunity for incorporated not-for-profit organizations, registered charitable organizations, and research and academic institutions to help support social responsibility that benefits all Ontarians. The Social Impact Fund (the Fund) is rooted in OCS's commitment to promoting responsible cannabis consumption while protecting youth and vulnerable populations.

The Fund directly supports the OCS’s Social Responsibility strategy and includes three Social Impact funding streams:

1. Establishing a foundation for environmental sustainability
2. Supporting a diverse and inclusive cannabis industry in Ontario
3. Advancing cannabis knowledge and promoting responsible consumption

Maximum Project Value

Applicants may apply for $25,000 to $100,000 for the 2023 pilot of the Social Impact Fund.

Indirect Costs

Not permitted by OCS.

Project Duration

8-12 months
