The Library is hosting a six-part online Open Scholarship Brown Bag Series for University of Guelph researchers seeking insights, tools, and discussions to help enhance their research quality.

In this first brown bag, you will learn what ORCID iDs are and how to use your ORCID iD to improve your research workflow. You’ll also have time to set one up in the session (it takes under 5 minutes!). Specifically, this brown bag session will cover: 

  • Setting up an ORCID iD 
  • Benefits of ORCID and persistent identifiers in research 
  • Using ORCID in your research and publication workflows 
  • Questions from audience members
