Please join the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness for the 32nd session of the Research in Action Webinar on July 23rd , 2026 titled: Navigating Trade Barriers for Ontario's Agri-Food Sector.
In this session, participants will hear from Dr. Sylvanus Kwaku Afesorgbor, Associate Professor, Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of Guelph.
He will be presenting findings and updates on his work from the following projects:
- Navigating Canadian trade disputes: Implications for Ontario's agri-food exports and the role of provincial economic diplomacy
- Measuring interprovincial trade barriers in Canada and assessing their impact on Ontario's agri-food exports to other provinces
