Innovative Solutions Canada
For More Information
Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) is an initiative designed to stimulate technology research, development and commercialization of Canadian innovations. The program's Challenge Stream and Testing Stream help startups, small/medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and academia overcome technology testing and development hurdles so that they can produce globally-demanded products and services while also improving government operations.
ISC has announced three new opportunities via the testing stream. ISC is seeking pre-commercial innovative prototypes in the following fields:
Quantum technologies are at the cutting edge of science and innovation. As an enabling platform, quantum is leading to a new suite of technologies in computing, sensors, secure communications and advanced materials. These technologies will support the growth of key sectors such as computing, communications, health care, transportation, logistics, navigation and aerospace.
Small or medium enterprises (SMEs), large businesses, not for profit or academic institutions.
See full eligibility requirements on the Innovative Solutions Canada Open Funding Opportunities Website.
Eligible innovators can receive up to $2.3M to have their prototypes tested in real-life settings.
Maximum amount of eligible costs is set at 15%.
If College-level review is required, your College will communicate its earlier internal deadlines.
