Description
OCE has recently advised universities that the "Start Date" on funded project agreements will be the project activation date set by OCE once they have received the signed agreement and the industry partner’s cash contribution (or confirmation of receipt of the industry partner’s cash contribution by the University). The "End Date" will be set by OCE to reflect the period of time approved by OCE for the completion of the Project following the Start Date (e.g. 12 months). This change in Start Date has important implications for researchers as OCE will not reimburse expenses incurred by prior to the Start Date set by OCE. This change affects agreements generated on or after May 16.
