Description

The College of Arts, in partnership with the International Institute for Critical Studies and Improvisation (IICSI), are excited to announce to announce our 6th panel in the Why Arts Matter research speaker series, an exploration of the intersections between disciplines, expertise and themes that impact individual experiences, social life and culture.

The sixth event in this series, The Many Dimensions of War, will feature a thought-provoking discussion with panelists Dr. Alex Souchen, Dr. Jasmin Hristov and Dr. Ian Spears. Together, they will bring critical perspectives to the study and understanding of war and conflict, exploring how power, political violence, environmental impacts and the enduring legacies of warfare can challenge conventional narratives and broaden how we understand conflict.

After the main discussion, there will be a brief Q&A session with the audience.

Space is limited, so register online to secure your spot!
