Description

Conversation Canada is a national, daily, online publication that delivers analysis and explanatory journalism from the academic and research community directly to the public. It’s a not-for-profit collaboration where professional editors work directly with academics and researchers to publish articles for a wide audience. It is an effective venue for showcasing your research and expertise, as articles often attract national and sometimes international media interest.

U of G became a founding partner of the media network in 2017. Since then, most universities across Canada have become members.

The workshop will feature Conversation Canada editor Scott White, who will discuss effective commentaries and how to pitch and write for the publication.

Conversation Canada accepts commentaries written by faculty and PhD students.
