Description

This funding opportunity will support two types of projects: knowledge syntheses and scoping reviews. Applications to synthesize knowledge in any of CIHR's four themes - biomedical; clinical; health services and policy; population and public health - are eligible provided that they respond to a knowledge user identified need. Please note that the intent of this funding opportunity is to fund the synthesis of existing knowledge; thus, collection of primary data or activities related to primary research are not meant to be supported.

Eligibility

Must be at least 2 Project Leaders – Faculty member and a Knowledge User - Individuals who hold a Foundation Scheme grant in the role of Program Leader are not eligible to apply to the Knowledge Synthesis competition in the role of Nominated Principal Applicant or Principal Applicant. Funding Availability

max amount for knowledge synthesis $100,000 & max amount for scoping review $50,000 – funds for approximately 15 grants

This is the final launch for the Knowledge Synthesis Grant program. This program will then be integrated to the Project Scheme
