*Important Change to Application Limits for CIHR Project Scheme Competitions
CIHR has heard concerns from many in the research community regarding the restriction that allows individuals to submit only one application to the Project Scheme per calendar year as a Nominated Principal Applicant/Principal Applicant. After having considered the feedback received, and weighing the risks and benefits of making any changes, CIHR has made the decision to remove all application limits in the Project Scheme.
There is now no limit to the number of applications an individual can submit to the Project Scheme per competition and/or per calendar year.
CIHR will monitor this as part of the pilots and will make any necessary adjustments, if required. If you have any questions please feel free to contact CIHR at Roadmap-Plan.Strategique@cihr-irsc.gc.ca.
