Description

The primary aim of the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) is to combine the resources, infrastructures, and research strengths of multiple countries in order to address transmission of antibiotic resistance following a ‘One Health Approach’. The goal is to foster multinational research collaborations to add value to and to build upon the research conducted independently at national level and to work together to improve the control of resistant bacterial infections of clinical and/or veterinary importance only.

Eligibility

Independent researcher and must be appointed at an eligible Canadian postsecondary institution at the time of application.  Each transational consortium must involve a minimum of three (3) eligible partners from three (3) different countries participating in the call.  A maximum of 6 project participants.

Funding Availability

$200,000 per application – fund approximately 6 grants
