Description

IC- Impacts (NCE) call for proposals was launched on June 15.  The Research Synergy Collaboration Grant has been designed to enhance collaboration across IC-IMPACTS research projects and to stimulate novel partnerships, exciting and unexpected innovations, and extending the impacts of research projects previously funded through the IC-IMPACTS network. The grant will provide funding to up to three new projects that bring together the respective technologies of at least two previously funded research teams or which apply elements of the teams’ combined advancements to a new application area in a different thematic area. 

Eligibility

Faculty eligible for funding through the Tri-Agency Granting Councils (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) and must be members of research projects currently or previously funded through IC-IMPACTS. 

Funding Availability

Each project can receive up to $100,000 in funding and will fund up to three projects.

Indirect Costs

If there is a contributing industry partner as part of the overall project then the policies of the PI’s university would apply.

Project Duration

Research projects of one or two years in duration are eligible for funding.

Special Notes

Each project application must consist of a Canadian and Indian applicant (Principal investigators), who together have developed a joint project proposal and project budget.

Principal Investigator sends signed OR-5 form along with Project proposal to: Research.Services@uoguelph.ca

External Deadline

Principal Investigator submits online application and it is automatically sent to both DBT and IC-IMPACTS together with all funding organizations documents submitted as part of the online application process.
