Description

The Globalink Research Internships is accepting faculty applications for summer 2017. GRI pairs faculty in Canada with international top-ranked senior undergrads. Faculty members at institutions across Canada who are interested in hosting an international undergraduate student to work on a research project under their supervision are eligible. Faculty can submit multiple projects and re-submit projects from previous years.

Eligibility

Professors of all disciplines are eligible (includes Emeritus professors).  Senior undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or dual degree granting program at an accredited and eligible university in Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.  Graduate recruitment: returning interns eligible for Globalink Graduate Fellowship funding are also eligible. 

Project Duration

12 week research projects from May to September, 2017. Internships start between May 1 and June 30 for 40 hours a week. Interns must return to their country of study between July 31 and September 30, 2017. Interns must meet the grade requirements for their country of study.

Special Notes

Mitacs oversees matching and travel logistics and provides student funding. The student call for applications will be open July 2016.
