Description

Facilitated by: Bronwynne Wilton, Manager, OMAFRA Partnership Communications and Knowledge Mobilization Programs, with David Phipps, Executive Director, Research & Innovation Services, York University.

What is research impact and why should you care? Do you want your research to have an impact on society outside of the academy and is this even your job? How do you craft knowledge mobilization strategies in your grant applications? Knowledge mobilization can help broaden the reach of your research by connecting to research partners and organizations that can help maximize the impacts of your research.

No reservation necessary.

All welcome!

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
