Helping the province's transportation industry grow and succeed is part of the Ontario government's plan to invest in people, invest in infrastructure and support a dynamic and innovative business climate. The Connected Vehicle/Autonomous Vehicle (CVAV) Program encourages business and academic institutions to develop and commercialize innovations in connected and autonomous vehicle technologies, with a focus on projects that show a strong potential for commercialization. Offered by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Economic Development Employment and Infrastructure, the CVAV Program funds industry-led projects.
More information will be provided via webcast on Thursday August 6, 2015. This webcast will include the latest in CVAV Program updates, and ITS developments at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation; an overview of 2 projects funded during the pilot phase, an overview of the Program and a Q&A session.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
