Programs currently opened :

- Focus on Brain (in collaboration with Brain Canada):
Funds the development of cutting-edge technologies, platforms or tools that will have an immediate and strong impact on the R&D process of new drugs for disorders of the brain, nervous system and special senses.

- Canada/Europe Joint Funding Initiative (in collaboration with European partners):

- Quantum Leap :
This program allows SMEs and academia to develop platforms that will have a tremendous impact on biopharmaceutical research, in addition to meeting the critical needs of the industry. The program therefore aims at bringing an existing platform further while positioning it advantageously for commercialization. Budget depends on research proposal. Open all year long.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
