Description
The Project Grant program supports small-budget proposals for research into the history of medicine and allied disciplines such as science and technology studies, sociology, anthropology, and classics. Projects must strive to advance the history of health, healthcare and disease, or the education of health professionals.

Eligibility
To apply for an AMS History of Medicine Project Grant, the applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident AND meet one of the following requirements:
- Be employed as a health professional in Canada by a health care organization/ health authority/ provincial/national government.
- Be a researcher with an academic appointment at a Canadian university or affiliated research institution or hold an appointment (with research responsibilities) at an affiliated hospital/research centre/institute; OR,
- Be employed by a health professions organization, eg., CMA, CNA, MCC, or a health professions regulatory body located in Canada.
