Appreciating the little things

Moths often don't get the appreciation they deserve because they're large, furry, and have a bad reputation for destroying people's clothing. However, moths are important pollinators and contribute significantly to the reproductive lifecycle of many angiosperms! This Sigmoid-Prominent Moth (Clostera apicalis) was found during a research project in Algonquin Provincial Park which focused on understanding the impact that human disturbance has on the diversity of Lepidoptera.
