A Dogbane beetle (Chrysochus auratus), one of my favourite insects is captured in a tallgrass prairie field while conducting an insect survey on a farm site. This research is part of Aleksandra Dolezal’s PhD project investigating how habitat affects insect communities in and around farmlands.
