Sundew Splendor

Close-up photo of insectivorous sundews (Drosera rotundifolia) in the Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest outside Fairbanks, Alaska. My lab group is currently researching how permafrost thaw is affecting vegetation - primarily mosses, lichens, and some vascular plants - through conducting nutrient addition experiments and vegetation manipulation experiments.
