Uterine fluid, nourishing life

A two-week-old embryo faces important challenges inside a cow’s uterus. Its survival depends on the uterine environment, which will nourish the embryo and allow it to grow. The fluid inside the uterus is a very dense and rich mixture full of nutrients, including sugars, lipids, and proteins.
