The Board of Governors held a special teleconference meeting on December 20, 2018, Chaired by Board Chair Kevin Golding. The teleconference meeting was open to the public and a listen-in location was available on campus.

The special teleconference meeting was held to consider and approve the University’s Policy Statement on Freedom of Expression, which was required to be in place prior to January 1, 2019.

The Board of Governors considered and approved the University of Guelph’s Policy Statement on Freedom of Expression, as previously endorsed by the University of Guelph Senate on November 26, 2018.
