CCS Service Catalogue
Improving client satisfaction.
Do you like to ‘shop’ for services online? You will soon have the opportunity to browse services offered by CCS through an online Service Catalogue. The Catalogue will organize services into a user-friendly menu that integrates service requests with the standard CCS process for fulfilling those requests. Each service within the Catalogue will be presented in a consistent and standard format including a description of the service, estimated timeframes for fulfilling the service, who is entitled to request the service, associated costs and how to request the service.
The Service Catalogue will be developed in combination with a redesign of the CCS website and its completion is scheduled for 2012. The project consists of three phases. The first phase was recently completed and established a framework to help standardize the information, its management and delivery through the catalogue. Phase 2 of the Service Catalogue project is well underway. Throughout this phase, the team will ensure that services are defined from an end-user perspective and grouped into appropriate categories. The team will also develop functional requirements for the Service Catalogue tool that will deliver and support the management of the Catalogue. The final and third phase will wrap up the project with the Catalogue’s design, development and implementation online.
In general, the Service Catalogue is being developed with clients’ interests in mind. CCS will be soliciting customer input on the development of CCS service listings and throughout the catalogue development process. CCS wants to ensure that services are described in terms that are intuitive to end users.
