Counselling Services

Counselling Services at the University of Guelph provides counselling to students who are experiencing personal problems. Often these problems present as anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, eating concerns or adjusting to university life. .

Student Support Network:  a campus drop-in and support line, provides confidential listening/support and information/referrals to all students of the University Community by trained volunteers.

Stress Management & High Performance Clinic

Providing self-regulation skills training for performance and health to clients from university, health care, and community settings in group, private, and on-site programs.


Student Health Services

Located in the Powell Building, 1st floor, we offer comprehensive health and medical services to students and their immediate families.

Services include:

The Department of Athletics

Athletics offers a wide variety of activities and programs to meet the demonstrated needs and perceived interests of students. There is something for every interested "Gryphon".  Facilities include a twin pad arena, a field house with squash courts, swimming pools, weight training areas (including cardio, strength training and advanced training), multi-purpose areas, gymnasiums, lighted fields, an outdoor track and a covered athletics field with track.  Structured programs include a multitude of fitness and spinning classes each week, intramurals, interest classes (dance, martial arts, aquatics, pilates and yoga), certification courses, clubs, personal training, special needs programs and 30 intercollegiate teams.


The Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre is a resource centre providing information on numerous issues related to health, well-being, lifestyle and human rights.

Located on the 2nd floor of the J.T. Powell Building, we offer print resources, displays, workshops and much more.
